Dirt in the Skirt – Silver Compass Consulting

Dirt in the Skirt started in 2024 as a women-focused slo-pitch charity tournament and community event rooted in respect for the women who came before us and the women playing today. Inspired by the trailblazing athletes of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League of the 1940s, Dirt in the Skirt honours the history, grit, and joy that women have always brought to the game. Those players carved out space in a sport that wasn’t built for them, and their legacy continues to matter.

Giving back is a core part of every Dirt in the Skirt tournament. In each city, a local charity or organization is chosen annually as the donation recipient, allowing every event to make a meaningful local impact while bringing people together around a shared cause, and of course, our love for the game!

Our tournaments are made possible through the support of sponsors, volunteers, and our players who help us create an unforgettable experience for everyone involved! From DJs and walk-up songs for the ladies, to entertainment, VIP zones, vendors, and more, sponsorship/team support allows us to elevate the game day experience while continuing to give back to the communities we play in.
